The Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry recently paid tribute to Andrew Sordoni III after he retired in November 2012. Sordoni was recognized with the distinction of Honorary Director for Life by the Board of Directors.
At the dinner, which was held at The Union League in Philadelphia, Sordoni was presented with an official 27×40 framed portrait by Dave Moser that will permanently hang in the board room of the PA Chamber’s Harrisburg offices along with an oil painting of former President Alba Johnson, who founded the Commonwealth’s largest broad-based business advocacy organization in 1916. What an incredible honor!
Dave recently checked in with his client to see how the presentation went, and they responded with the following:

Mr Sordoni was overwhelmed and speechless! The portrait is amazing – and I heard many comments about how great our building looks in the photo as well. Thanks!

It was a fantastic evening. As Lesley said, Andy couldn’t find words to express on Thursday evening. He said he “smelled a rat” when we asked to have his photograph taken but not prepared for the final outcome. We are tremendously grateful to you for working with us on this project. Thanks for bringing the portrait to the Union League – it is now safely transported back to our Board Room and ready for its final “hanging”. It was a sincere pleasure working with Dave and I look forward to continued communication.
